About WA-BACI

Our Story

WA-BACI began as a conversation among regional behavior analysts who saw a need for consistency and quality in how Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was taught, tested, and recognized. Rather than relying on scattered programs or imported credentials, the idea was to build a home-grown institute—rooted in West African cultures, languages, and community needs.

Today, WA-BACI serves as the trusted steward of ABA certifications for parents, technicians, assistants, analysts, and advanced specialists. Every credential carries the same promise: that its holder has met rigorous standards crafted for our shared context.

Our Approach

At the heart of WA-BACI is a commitment to evidence-based practice. We partner with educators, clinics, and community organizations to develop training materials and examinations that reflect real-world scenarios—whether that’s supporting a child’s language development, guiding families through behavior challenges, or advising schools on data-driven intervention plans.
