Coursework Requirement

  • A minimum of BSc/BA degree or HND Certificate or its Equivalent
  • An affidavit/Police report/Criminal background fingerprint report attested to by the supervisor
  • Completion of 250 classroom hours in Behavior Analysis or earning a first degree /HND from an ABAI-accredited or APBA-accredited or National Universities commission approved program
  • Ethics & Humanity – 30 hours
  • Fundamentals of ABA – 45 hours
  • Behavioral Techniques & Measurement - 30 hours
  • Behavior Assessment & Evaluation – 45 hours
  • ABA in Action – 50 hours
  • ABA Services & Human Mgt -20 hours
  • Special Topics – 30 hours

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Supervised Fieldwork: A minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised fieldwork in the science of Behavior Analysis
  • A video clip of a demonstrated specified skills procedure to be attested to by the supervisor.
  • as evidence/proof of experiential learning

• Objectively Structured Practical ABA examination (OSP-ABA-E)
